The Black Sun Mandate

The Black Sun Mandate is Drazakar's doctrine of ordered domination. It teaches that the realm was forged to impose unity on a weak and quarrelling world, that conquest is correction, tribute proves order, and fear is civic duty. In temple yards the words are grand, almost merciful, full of promises that famine and feud will end beneath one dark disc. In levy halls the same words become conscripts, grain quotas, hostages, and gallows milestones. The Mandate is ancient enough to sound sacred and cruel enough to make domination speak like public service.
