Eomund Redspur

Eomund Redspur likes plans that can survive being shouted through rain from one saddle to another. He is not subtle, but he is exact about speed, and Keldrun knows the difference. A foolish rider brings noise to a dying border; Eomund brings remounts, horn signals, water scouts, spare shoes, and the ugly timing that turns arrival into rescue rather than regret.
