Azrukhor IronVow speaks of honour with a voice clean enough to frighten honest men. He makes vows in public, beneath banners and witness eyes, then follows them until compassion, exhaustion, and better counsel are all ground under the same iron heel. Drazakar recognises the usefulness of such a soul: ceremony that can make coercion look like law. Surayan recognises something more dangerous, the bright power of a promise made under open sky and sharpened until every witness becomes a chain. His riders polish bronze cups, oil black iron, knot red cords, and whisper the exact words they hope never to hear him swear. Azrukhor's tragedy is not false honour. It is honour narrowed until it can march past mercy without looking down.
