Azrak Bonegate learned command where stone sweats, air thins, and mercy becomes another mouth to feed. He reads a sealed gate the way gentler men read weather: by cracks, hunger, silence, and the smell of fear trapped behind it. Drazakar finds use in his discipline because Azrak can turn suffering into forward motion without pretending it is noble. The hard underworld peoples who understand him know a harsher truth: sometimes the way out is through a door that must be paid for in bone. His followers smell of damp hide, old marrow, torch pitch, iron dust, and stale breath held too long in tunnels. Azrak does not promise survival.
