Commander
Tharion Goldleaf
Playable with Lysvar
Commander Canon
Tharion Goldleaf rules as if every leaf were both inheritance and witness. His generosity is real, which makes his suspicion more dangerous; he knows gifts can become maps in greedy hands. Lysvar sees in him the proud burden of a hidden realm rich enough to tempt strangers and old enough to remember what follows temptation. His courts smell of polished wood, river flowers, lamp oil, honeyed wine, bow wax, and rain on gold-threaded cloaks. Merchants call him difficult when he refuses roads that would fatten their ledgers and expose sanctuary stores. Woodcutting captains call him arrogant until the forest begins counting them. Tharion can feast a defeated guest with grave courtesy, but he has no romance about trespass. Beneath his beauty lies a ruler's cold duty: to keep the groves generous without making them available for conquest.
